friday evening, and i am home. i just drank up a huge bowl of watercress soup yum ! this is the first friday evening i'm home since don't know how long ago. usually on friday evenings, i'll step out of school and say "TGIF ! " , highfive kangwei and take a bus to town and pretend that i have a life. why ?

i can't believe the business students from singapore polytechnic were sent to disneyland, florida for their internship. i shook my head as i plunge my spoon down into the watercress soup while i watched the news on telly. no wonder people always say engine students have got no life. just look at me ! hello, my name is emily and i am a year 3 student in temasek polytechnic engineering school. i am currently creating an adminstrative application for changi general hospital in-house and i am not paid a single cent. the application will be used by the public in future. the lecturers in my school make my groupmates and i work like a dog and i've learn nothing much so far other than drinking vitasoy and eating char siew pau.

over a conference conversation today, wenling, stef and i formed an alliance. we're called " the vegetable girls ". my nick was " the emo broccoli ", and then wenling came up to me and said she's upset because she didn't make it for her bridging course. i reckon she was emo then. so i asked her to be the emo cauliflower. but she doesn't like cauliflowers. so she settled for tomato. stefanie i reckon, was emo too because she's afraid of failing for her exams. so stef's the emo carrot. together, we are the emo vegetable girls.

seperate issue; yesterday i closed a 2.5K deal with a customer and was mighty proud of myself.

next week will be my last week of being fat. from september, i'll get my ass back down to fitness and get my heart pumping for oxygen. and i get to fitness for freee ! after work, i'll just change and attend classes and use the treadmill. all for freee ! oh don't we just love the work "free" ! i haven't exercised at all for the past 2 months already and i sit all day. i sit in the lab, and i sit down at work. FYI, i put on 2 kg. i hardly even walk now. i get to sit at work; not like last time at fish and co walk here and there until legs want to break already. must must must exercise ah !

another seperate issue; the next time i go to Kbox, i want to sing F.I.R's Ni Hen Ai Ta and indulge in melancholy. man man, i am indeed the emo broccoli.
