Last night at Parkway Starbucks, there was Wen Ling and I. Jason didn't want to join initially because there's Toy Story 2 screened on Channel 5. Jason asked Wen Ling,
" What ? You are choosing Emily over Toy Story ? How can ? " Thanks ah, Wee. And while I was having dinner, Jason texted " YOU WIN. I'VE DECIDED TO COME DOWN PARKWAY. " Wen Ling told me to ask Jason, " So now you are choosing Emily over Toy Story too ? "

So there was Wen Ling, Jason and I. Later we saw Shaun carrying his huge wakeboard and I went, " WAH SHAUN WHY YOU SO TANNED NOW. " Jason then said " You never see his piano so big meh. " Haha. Then shortly after, there was WenLing, Jason, Shaun and I. From 2 become 4. Tra lala.

Anyw, that's not the point. The point is, do you all know who James is ? Okay that's quite redundant. But let me make a brief introduction to you all, readers, about James.

James is this guy who hang out alot at Parkway Starbucks. I got to know him through Shaun that period of time when I was depressed and I sit at Starbucks from morning till night. James is a really weird guy. But he seems somebody interesting and I would like to know so much more about him. Weird ? Like how ? I tell you how. He talks hip hop like " Yooo wasssup dude. " or " Man, I need a fix. " He speaks blunt but yet he is so good with his words I don't know whether to despise him or respect him.

On one occasion, on the very last day of my exams last semester, I sat down with Shaun and CK feeling happy. But there, there was Shaun who's still mugging for his last paper and CK was writing down some guitar notes on his book. James came along.

James : Hey yooooo wassup.
E: Hey you know I finished my exams already !!
James : Ooh, cool shit. Then the both of you ? (he pointed to Shaun and CK)
Shaun : I still got one last paper tmr.
James: Ooh that's sad. Then Emily, tell me what are you doing here tonight with these two losers ?

Hahaha. I swear CK, being the violent him wanted to punch him in his face already. After James was gone,

CK said " NABEH CHEEBYE WHO IS HE TO CALL ME A LOSER WHEN HE DON'T EVEN KNOW MY NAME."

And so, yesterday we saw James in his rollerblades. Helmet on his head too,at Starbucks.

WL : Why is he in his helmet in Starbucks he looks weirdddd !
E: Hahaha. Jason, you know who he is or not. He is James. Later I intro him to you okay. You will love him.

and I proceeded by telling Jason all the funny encounters I had with James.
Jason at that point of time, couldn't look anymore interested.
And being the verbally playful Jason, he said

" Okay, later I MUST meet him. Eh Emily follow me go Harvey Norman leh. "

And so, Jason and I left out seats.
We came back shortly only to see James sitting on my chair talking to Shaun and Wenling.

E : Hey James do you know that you are taking my seat ?
James : Okay.. sorry about that.

I then turn behind to give him a hand with the extra chair.

James : Uhmmm, I think I'm capable of getting my own chair you know.

I think I kinda tore his ego condom.

And then all 5 of us ( James, Jason, Shaun, Wen Ling and I ) were comfortably seated.

Shaun : Hey Jason, this is James. James,Jason.

and there was the warm(?) handshake. The fun begins.

WenLing : Why are you wearing a helmet ? Have to wear helmet one meh while rollerblading ?

James : Oh, I don't usually don't. But when the kid is around, I will set a good example.

Wenling and Emily in unison : Kid ??

James : Oh, my son.

Emily's lower jaw hung down.

James : Hey Emily, why is your mouth opened ? Close them.

Emily : Ohhh... I need oxygen.

James is 23 years old this year.

Jason : You have a kid ??

James : Uhmmm well yeah... he is 5 this year.

Jason : Oh, so how is it like being a father when you're 17, 18 ?

James : Well... I think its cool. Its fun raising a kid by my own.

Emily : So James, you're schooling now or working ?

James : I'm waiting for NS. Neither studying or working.

Jason : Oh, so what does your kid at home feed on ?

James : I've got investments here and there.

Jason : So you're married ?

James : Nooo, I don't have a wife. My ex girlfriend and I now are best friends and we are having a happy time raising a kid on our own. She's seeing someone new now and I'm happy for her.

Jason : Why did you want to keep the child ?

James : Oh, I'm totally anti-abortion. Wait, why are you asking so much ? We are all here to chill alright...

Jason : Oh no, I'm just curious why would someone want to keep and commit to a child when he can't feed himself.

James : Wait Jason, I don't know if there are problems with your family but I don't buy into the cliche that one has to be married before he/she can raise a child on his/her own.

Emily : Oh no la, Jason is a journalist that's why. Pardon him.

James : Ohhh you're a journalist ? That's cool, yeah dude.

Jason : Oh yes, I just finished my Masters in Communications.

Jason is a Shatec Student doing hospitality and at that point of time, Shaun, WL and I were like wtf(?)

James : OH MASTERS ? You look young you know.

Jason : Well... looks can be deceiving. Just like how I thought when I first saw you, I didn't expect you to be a father of a 5 year old boy.

James : Oh well I guess... Okay, the atmosphere is getting abit tense. I'll see you guys again.

WL : WAH JASON, YOU'VE FINALLY MET YOUR MATCH.

Jason : I was so shocked when he asked if I have problems with my parents. And he actually calls me dude.

Emily and Shaun : HAHAHAHAHA.

And so the night out was till late.
Wenling, Jason and I decided to share a cab back together.
Upon arriving Jason's place at Eunos,

Emily : Bye Jason, TC.
Jason : TC ?
Emily : I mean, take care.
Jason : KMA.
Wen Ling and Emily : huh.. ?
Jason : KISS MY ASS.
